I've had my snake plant for almost a year now and honestly thought it was indestructible, but I somehow managed to overwater it last month

I've had my snake plant for almost a year now and honestly thought it was indestructible, but I somehow managed to overwater it last month. The leaves got a bit soft, which scared me. I cut back drastically and it's bouncing back, so I guess even the toughest plants need us to actually pay attention. Has anyone else accidentally neglected the "neglect it" rule? I'm learning that low maintenance doesn't mean no maintenance.
