I've had my ZZ for three years now and it's still the most forgiving thing I own

I've had my ZZ for three years now and it's still the most forgiving thing I own. Barely watered it through the dry season and it didn't even blink. The thing that actually surprised me was how fast new leaflets unfurl once you hit the sweet spot with light—mine sits near an east window and I swear I can watch the fronds extend week to week. Anyone else find theirs suddenly took off after moving it, or has mine just decided to cooperate out of nowhere?
