I've had my ZZ plant for about a year now and honestly, I barely water it. I think I went almost two months without checking on it once, and it didn't even complain. That's kind of the whole appeal for me—I have three plants total, and this one is the least needy by far. The glossy leaflets are still looking great, which makes me feel less guilty about neglecting it. If you're new to plants or just forgetful like me, a ZZ is a solid choice.
