I've had my ZZ plant for about two years now and honestly forgot how low-maintenance it really is. I kept second-guessing myself about watering until I realized it actually prefers to dry out between drinks. Once I backed off and let the soil stay dry longer, it started putting out new leaflets like crazy. If you tend to overwater like I do, a ZZ is genuinely forgiving enough to teach you better habits. Mine's tucked in a corner with indirect light and thriving, which tells me it's hard to mess up.
