I've had my ZZ plant for about two years now and honestly it's been the easiest thing I've ever grown. I kept waiting for it to need something, but it just sits in a corner and thrives. My only real lesson: I used to water it on a schedule and nearly killed it that way. Now I just check the soil every couple weeks and only water when it's actually dry. It's kind of nice having a plant that doesn't demand much attention.
