I've had the same Epipremnum aureum potted on a shelf for three years and it's barely grown. Finally moved it closer to my south-facing window—not even direct sun, just bright indirect—and the difference in the past month alone is noticeable. I think I'd underestimated how much light it actually needs. My arid climate means the soil dries faster too, which somehow seems to suit it better. Anyone else finding that pothos performs better with slightly less water and more light than the usual advice suggests?
