I've had the same pothos for three years now and it's finally stopped sulking

I've had the same pothos for three years now and it's finally stopped sulking. Turns out mine hated the spot I gave it—too much direct afternoon sun for a plant that just wants bright, indirect light. Moved it to a shelf by the north window and suddenly new growth everywhere. Has anyone else found their pothos thrives better in lower light than expected?
