I've had the same pothos for three years now and it's honestly the lowest-maintenance plant I own

I've had the same pothos for three years now and it's honestly the lowest-maintenance plant I own. Mine trails from a shelf in my kitchen where it gets bright indirect light, and I water it maybe once a week. The only thing I've noticed is it grows noticeably faster when I remember to feed it during summer. Has anyone else found that pothos actually prefers to dry out a bit between waterings, or am I just lucky with mine?
