My Epipremnum aureum has finally started producing fenestrated leaves after two years in my apartment

My Epipremnum aureum has finally started producing fenestrated leaves after two years in my apartment. I'd read it needed more light and maturity to show that behavior, but I wasn't sure mine would ever get there. Turns out patience and a spot near an east-facing window made all the difference. Has anyone else noticed their pothos took a while to show its true growth form, or did mine just need convincing?
