My Ficus lyrata finally dropped its oldest leaf after two years, and I'm oddly relieved. I'd been watering on a rigid schedule and figured it was doomed, but honestly? It's thriving now that I switched to watering only when the top inch feels dry. The new growth is noticeably fuller. Anyone else overthink their fig's watering routine, or is that just me?
