My fiddle leaf fig finally dropped its last leaf last winter—complete failure on my part

My fiddle leaf fig finally dropped its last leaf last winter—complete failure on my part. I'd been moving it around chasing light instead of just leaving it alone. Since I stopped fussing and kept it consistently warm in one spot by the south window, it's sprouted three new leaves in two months. Anyone else find these things actually pretty forgiving once you stop trying to optimize everything?
