My fiddle leaf fig finally stopped dropping leaves after I moved it away from the cold draft by the window. Turns out I was watering it like everything else in my collection, but it hates sitting wet in an arid climate. Now I let the soil dry out almost completely between waterings and it's actually thriving. Wish I'd figured that out before losing half its foliage, but at least it's taught me to stop treating every plant the same.
