My fiddle leaf fig has been sitting in the same spot for two years and honestly it's fine with that. Everyone says they're fussy about moving, and I believe it now—mine dropped a leaf the one time I rotated it. In an arid climate like mine, I water maybe every 10 days and let it dry out between. The real game changer was wiping the leaves once a month. Makes a huge difference in how it looks and I think it actually helps it breathe.
