My Monstera deliciosa finally fenestrated after two years of just giving me solid leaves, and I'm oddly relieved. I'd read so much online about how they *must* split in bright light, so I was starting to wonder if mine was just stubborn. Turns out mine needed both the light AND maturity—it's a climbing plant in the wild, not a houseplant desperate to perform for us. Now I'm curious whether the new growth will keep fenestrating or if I'll hit another plateau.
