My Monstera finally put out a fenestrated leaf after two years of just plain splits

My Monstera finally put out a fenestrated leaf after two years of just plain splits. I think the real difference was stopping the constant fussing—I moved it to bright indirect light by the east window and basically forgot about it for a few months. The Mediterranean heat helps too, I suspect. Anyone else find their Monstera does better when you leave it alone rather than babying it?
