My Monstera finally split a leaf after three years of me just... waiting. I think the trick was finally giving up on perfect conditions and just letting it grow near an east-facing window instead of fussing with it constantly. I used to move it around so much, convinced it needed the absolute ideal spot. Turns out it mostly just wanted consistency and patience, which, embarrassingly, took me longer to learn than the plant took to reward me.
