My Monstera finally split a leaf after two years of just putting out regular foliage

My Monstera finally split a leaf after two years of just putting out regular foliage. I wasn't doing anything special—same bright indirect light, same watering routine—so I'm honestly not sure what triggered it. The fenestration started small but it's getting more dramatic with each new leaf now. Has anyone else had a long lag before their plant decided to actually monstera? Makes me wonder if mine was just waiting to mature enough.
