My Monstera finally split a leaf after two years of nothing but solid growth

My Monstera finally split a leaf after two years of nothing but solid growth. I think the jump in brightness when I moved it closer to the window last spring actually made the difference—not just watering or fertilizer like everyone says. Now I'm wondering if I should prop it up differently to encourage more fenestration, or if I'm just overthinking it. Has anyone else noticed a real shift once they adjusted light levels?
