My Monstera has finally started fenestrating after two years of just... leaves. I think the turning point was moving it closer to the window—not *right* at the glass, but that bright indirect spot seemed to flip a switch. Now I'm slightly paranoid I'll mess it up by moving it again, which is probably silly, but here we are. If yours is still unfenestrated and you've had it a while, it might just be patience plus better light.
