My Monstera has finally started splitting after two years of just being a sulky green wall. I think the turning point was stopping myself from fussing with it—I moved it to a bright spot near the window and basically left it alone. Turns out all those "helpful" rotations and water adjustments were just stressing it out. Now I'm resisting the urge to babysit the new growth, which is genuinely hard for me.
