My peace lily finally flowered after two years of just sitting there looking green

My peace lily finally flowered after two years of just sitting there looking green. Turns out it hated being by the window—moved it to a shadier spot and within weeks the flowers showed up. I'd read they bloom in low light but didn't really believe it until I saw it happen. Now I'm wondering if my other two plants have been in the wrong spots this whole time.
