My peace lily finally stopped being dramatic about my tap water. I switched to letting it sit overnight before watering and the leaf browning cleared up within weeks. Turns out chlorine was the culprit all along. It's weird because I've got three other plants that don't seem to care, but this one's particular about it. Anyway, if yours looks sad despite good light and humidity, that's worth trying first.
