My peace lily has been with me for about a year now and I finally figured out why it kept drooping. Turns out I was watering on a schedule instead of just checking the soil—it hates sitting in water. Now I water only when the top inch feels dry and it's so much happier. The leaves are actually shiny again instead of that sad brownish look they had. If you've got one that seems moody, I'd definitely try that approach before assuming it needs more light.
