My pothos finally perked up after I stopped moving it around so much

My pothos finally perked up after I stopped moving it around so much. I kept shifting it between windows thinking it needed more light, but it turns out it was just stressed. Now it's pushing new growth like crazy from a spot with medium indirect light. Has anyone else found their pothos happier when left alone? I'm wondering if that's just how they prefer it or if I got lucky with my spot.
