My pothos finally started trailing properly after I stopped moving it around so much

My pothos finally started trailing properly after I stopped moving it around so much. I kept rotating it thinking that would help, but it just stressed the thing out. Now it's in a bright spot away from the radiator and honestly it's the happiest it's been in the two years I've had it. Has anyone else found their pothos prefers being left alone? I'd love to know if I'm onto something or just got lucky.
