My pothos has been trailing across my shelf for about a year now, and I finally figured out why it was growing so slowly at first. Turns out it hated the spot I put it in—too far from the window. Once I moved it closer to indirect light, the growth was almost instant. Now it's my favorite thing to watch unfurl new leaves. Has anyone else had a pothos that surprised them once you found the right light conditions?
