My pothos has been trailing for three years now and honestly I've stopped fussing with it

My pothos has been trailing for three years now and honestly I've stopped fussing with it. Bright indirect light, water when the soil dries out, done. The thing thrives on neglect, which is why I keep it around despite having four plants total. Mine's gotten a bit leggy though—thinking about cutting it back to encourage bushier growth. Has anyone found that actually makes a difference, or does it just grow back the same way?
