My pothos has been trailing for years without much fuss, which is exactly why I keep it around. But I've noticed the leaves stay smaller if I let the soil dry out too much between waterings—I got lazy last summer and it wasn't pretty. Now I water more consistently and the new growth is noticeably bigger. Has anyone else found their pothos responds better to a regular schedule, or do you prefer the neglect-friendly approach?
