My pothos has finally decided to grow again after sitting pretty still for months

My pothos has finally decided to grow again after sitting pretty still for months. I think I was overwatering it, honestly. Once I backed off and let the soil dry out more between waterings, it just took off. I'm growing it in a bright spot near a window but not in direct sun, and that seems to be the sweet spot for mine. Has anyone else found their pothos was just being stubborn about water rather than needing more light or fertilizer?
