My pothos has finally started putting out those gorgeous split leaves and I'm honestly obsessed

My pothos has finally started putting out those gorgeous split leaves and I'm honestly obsessed. I almost killed it last year by overwatering—lesson learned the hard way—but once I backed off and let the soil dry out between waterings, it just took off. Now I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed theirs grows way faster in brighter light? Mine's hanging near a window in my apartment and the difference is night and day compared to when it was in a darker corner. Has anyone tried propagating theirs in water versus soil?
