My snake plant finally put out a flower spike after three years of just sitting there looking tough

My snake plant finally put out a flower spike after three years of just sitting there looking tough. I honestly wasn't expecting it—I keep mine in a corner that gets indirect light and water it maybe once a month. I've read that they flower when they're happy and established, so I guess neglect actually paid off this time. Has anyone else had theirs bloom? I'm curious if mine will keep doing it or if it was a one-time thing.
