My snake plant finally split a leaf last week after I moved it closer to the window. I've had it for three years in a shadier corner, and it was fine, but I'm realizing it actually wants light more than I thought. Still thriving on neglect, which is the whole point, but now I'm wondering if the others in my collection have been quietly underperforming too. Anyone else's snake plants noticeably happier after a light adjustment?
