My snake plant has been sitting in the same corner for two years and I finally moved it closer to a window last month. The new growth is noticeably faster and the leaves look sharper. I always thought they were fine in low light, and they are, but I was definitely holding mine back. If yours isn't growing much, try shifting it somewhere brighter even just for a few weeks and see what happens.
