My snake plant is finally putting out a new leaf after sitting pretty much dormant for two years

My snake plant is finally putting out a new leaf after sitting pretty much dormant for two years. I barely water it, keep it in bright indirect light, and honestly forgot about it half the time—which I think was exactly what it needed. They really do thrive on neglect in my experience. Anyone else find theirs suddenly decides to grow after you've stopped fussing with it?
