My ZZ finally put out a new leaflet after months of nothing, and I realized I'd been overwatering it. I know they're supposed to be tough, but mine clearly prefers to dry out almost completely between waterings—even more than the standard advice suggests. I'm in a tropical climate so that probably helps. Has anyone else found their Zamioculcas zamiifolia actually prefers neglect more than the typical "drought tolerant" reputation implies?
