My ZZ plant has been sitting in a corner for two years barely doing anything, and honestly I forgot it was there half the time. Then I moved it closer to a window last month and suddenly it's throwing out new leaflets like crazy. I'm kicking myself for not testing the light situation sooner, but at least it proved they really do tolerate neglect. Now I'm curious if anyone else has had a sudden growth spurt with theirs after adjusting placement.
