My ZZ plant has been sitting in the same corner for two years, barely growing, and I finally realized I was watering it way too often. Moved it three feet closer to the window and cut back to once a month, and now it's actually putting out new leaflets. Wish I'd done that sooner instead of assuming it needed more attention. If yours looks stuck, drier soil and better light are worth trying before you overthink it.
