My ZZ plant has been sitting in the same corner for two years doing absolutely nothing—no new growth, no drama, just existing. I finally moved it closer to a window last month and suddenly it's putting out new leaflets like it was waiting for permission. I'm kicking myself for not trying that sooner, honestly. If yours seems stuck, light is probably the culprit. Mine's happy on a shelf where it gets a few hours of indirect sun, and that's made all the difference.
