My ZZ plant has been sitting in the same corner for two years and honestly, I forgot about it half the time

My ZZ plant has been sitting in the same corner for two years and honestly, I forgot about it half the time. Then I moved it closer to a window and wow—the new growth came in so much glossier. I'm learning that even though they're supposedly fine in low light, mine really came alive with a bit more brightness. Has anyone else noticed their ZZ perk up with better light, or am I just finally paying attention to one of my three plants.
