My ZZ plant has been such a low-maintenance friend for the past year

My ZZ plant has been such a low-maintenance friend for the past year. I finally figured out why my first one struggled—I was watering it way too often. Now I just let the soil dry out completely between waterings, and it's thriving. The glossy leaves are almost reflective at this point. If you're thinking about getting one, honestly just resist the urge to fuss over it. They really do their best when you leave them alone.
