My ZZ plant has finally put out new growth after sitting dormant for months, and I'm honestly relieved. I've learned the hard way that these things really do need you to leave them alone—overwatering kills them faster than anything. Mine almost didn't make it my first year. Now I water maybe once every three weeks and it's thriving in a corner with medium light. If you've got one that looks sad, resist the urge to fuss with it and just be patient.
