My ZZ plant has finally stopped looking like it's barely hanging on

My ZZ plant has finally stopped looking like it's barely hanging on. I think the real turning point was leaving it alone—literally. I was watering too much out of guilt, but what it actually needed was to dry out between waterings and basically no fussing. Now I water maybe every three weeks and it's put out new growth I didn't think was coming. If you have one that looks sad, honestly just back off and give it time. They're tougher than they look.
