My ZZ plant is finally putting out new growth after months of sitting pretty and doing absolutely nothing

My ZZ plant is finally putting out new growth after months of sitting pretty and doing absolutely nothing. I realized I'd been watering it on a schedule instead of actually checking the soil—it hated that. Now I only water when the pot feels light, and it's completely transformed. These plants are tougher than they get credit for, but they do need you to respect their preference for dryness. Anyone else have one of these beauties thriving in their space?
