Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

So I finally figured out why my fiddle leaf fig kept dropping leaves—it wasn't the watering like I thought, it was me moving it around too much! I kept shuffling it between rooms chasing the "perfect" light, and the poor thing just wanted to stay put. Now it's been in the same spot for three months and it's actually putting out new growth. Has anyone else struggled with the urge to rearrange, or is that just my houseplant problem?
