Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

My Ficus lyrata has finally stopped dropping leaves after I moved it away from the heating vent and started bottom-watering instead of overhead watering. I'm still figuring out the light situation though—it's in a bright indirect spot, but the new growth seems a bit pale. Has anyone else struggled with getting the leaf color really vibrant, or am I just being impatient? I've only had it for about four months.
