Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

I finally figured out why my Ficus lyrata kept dropping leaves every winter—I was moving it around too much chasing the "perfect" light spot. Turns out it prefers consistency over intensity, even if that means slightly lower light. Since I've left mine in one east-facing corner and resisted the urge to shuffle it around, it's been the happiest it's been in three years. Anyone else overthinking their fig placement?
