Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig
Zayn·5 August 2026Community
My Ficus lyrata finally dropped a leaf after two years of being bulletproof, and honestly I'm relieved—I was waiting for the other shoe to fall. I think the shift from my grow light to a west-facing window in summer stressed it out, even though the light was technically better. Anyone else find that these figs are surprisingly sensitive to light *transitions* rather than just absolute brightness? I'm moving it back to the shelf for autumn and planning to be more gradual about seasonal shifts.
