Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

My fiddle leaf fig finally stopped dropping leaves after I moved it away from the heating vent and committed to watering only when the soil actually dried out. Took me two years to figure out it hated the inconsistency more than anything else. Now it's pushing new growth and I'm honestly relieved—I was ready to give up on the thing.
