Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

My Ficus lyrata has finally stopped sulking after I moved it away from the west-facing window—those afternoon blasts were scorching the leaves something fierce. I'm in a Mediterranean climate, so I thought it'd thrive in all that light, but turns out even sun-worshippers have limits! It's perking up now with bright, indirect light and less frequent watering. Has anyone else found their fiddle leaf fig happier with less intensity than expected?
