Notes on my Fiddle Leaf Fig

I finally figured out why my Ficus lyrata keeps dropping leaves—turns out I was moving it around too much looking for the "perfect" light spot. I've settled it in a bright, indirect spot by my window and stopped fussing with it, and it's been so much happier the last month. Has anyone else struggled with the fiddle leaf fig's drama, or did yours adjust pretty quickly? I'm still learning when it actually needs water versus when I'm just being paranoid.
